The setting aside of Israel while the Gentiles are receiving divine favor is not final, as some theologians allege, but is only for the present age. After "the fulness of the Gentiles be come in" (Romans 11:25), then the "fulness" of restored Israel will be even more rich (see note on Romans 11:15). Only "some of the branches" have been "broken off," (Romans 11:17) not all of them, even in this age.
