What would have happened to the entire human race if God the Father had not planned the way of, and elected sinners to, salvation?

What would have happened to the entire human race if God the Son had not purchased salvation through His suffering and death?

God The Father

1.Planning the way of salvation for lost sinners

But when the fulness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law.

To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

- Galatians 4:4-6

2.Electing sinners to salvation

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

- I Peter 1:2

3.Creating all things

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him.

- I Corinthians 8:6a

4.Providing for all things

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

- Matthew 6:26

5.Maintaining divine justice toward sinners

My little children, these things write I unto you that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

- I John 2:1

God The Son

1. Purchasing salvation through His human birth, suffering, and death

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

- Hebrews 9:12

2. Pleading for His children as their advocate, upon His own merits

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

- Romans 8:34

3. Being the Word through whom the Father created all things and will judge all creatures

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

- 11 Corinthians 5: 10
