1. Dormant regeneration - Dormant regeneration is a belief that most of the children that are born and baptized into the church are regenerated by God in their infancy. However, this "seed" of regeneration may lie dormant within the soul for a longer or shorter time before conversion to God takes place and evidences of spiritual life appear. According to this view, regeneration and conversion, receiving spiritual life and bringing forth the fruits of spiritual life, may be separated by several years.

2. The seed of regeneration lies dormant for several years

3. Conversion takes place when a conscious turning to God and doing of good works takes place
