Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.

-Acts 17:31

and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

-II Peter 3:7-9

And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man.

-John 5:27

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name: That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

-Philippians 2:9-10

The final judgment of all people shall take place immediately after their resurrection. Scripture testifies of one great day of judgment, not two or three different judgments, as the premillennialists teach.

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power;
When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that

believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

-II Thessalonians 1:7-10

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

-John 5:28-29

God shall judge all on this great day. He shall judge in the Per son of Jesus Christ. This honor is reserved for Christ.

When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats

-Matthew 25:31-32

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said, nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.

-Matthew 26:64; 28: 18

The holy angels shall be involved with Christ in the great judgment. They shall gather the elect into the glorious presence of Jesus and later usher them into their mansions of eternal life. Angels shall also assemble the wicked before Christ's judgment seat and later cast them into the place of eternal death.

The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

-Matthew 13:41-42

And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

-Matthew 24:31
