The saints will also be included in the sentencing of the wicked, in the praising of God's righteous judgments.
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all His saints. Praise ye the LORD.
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
-I Corinthians 6:2-3
All rational creatures shall be judged on this great day. All
angels will be judged and the sinful will be sentenced.
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.
-II Peter 2:4
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
All mankind, every person who ever lived, will appear before
God to be judged and all the guilty will be sentenced.
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
-II Corinthians 5:10
God's judgment of all people shall include a judgment of their state -heaven or hell, but also of degree -their measure of glory or punishment.
The judgment of each person's state will depend solely upon his relationship with Christ. Those who are united with Christ by true faith, shall stand clothed in Christ's garment of righteousness. They shall stand behind their great Substitute, who has lived a perfectly sinless life and paid the full price for all their sins by His sufferings and death.
When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
-II Thessalonians 1:7-8
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints,
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy Name? for Thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worhsip before Thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest.
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of
His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God? art Thou come hither to torment us before the time?
And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from
another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.
